The NorthWest Chapter of the MRA is excited to announce a new scholarship partnership with Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. The NWMRA will award a $1,000 scholarship each year to a GGU student, as selected by a GGU faculty committee. The annual scholarship award will also include a one year MRA student membership.
This marks the third school that the NWMRA has developed a scholarship partnership with, and the first in California. In 2010, the NWMRA partnered with Oregon State University in Corvalis, OR and the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and awarded $1,000 scholarships to students at each school in 2010 and 2011. The addition of the MRA student membership is new for 2012 and will be included for all three schools.
The NorthWest Chapter of the MRA is committed to furthering the marketing research industry and giving back to both our members and community. In addition to the collegiate scholarships, we have also initiated a Professional Development Fund which is intended to assist NWMRA members in their educational endeavors by reimbursing the cost of classes, seminars, conferences – anything related to upgrading skills in the marketing research profession. Please visit our website to learn more and apply for a Professional Development award.
